What is Forestry Mulching?

Forestry mulching is an effective and environmentally friendly land clearing method to clear overgrown vegetation and unwanted trees. It involves using machinery to chop up unwanted vegetation and woody debris into small pieces that are easily transported from the site. The small pieces of vegetation are then spread over areas where they will act as a natural fertilizer for the soil, helping it to flourish with new growth. Forestry mulching has many advantages over other methods of clearing land, including less environmental impact, erosion prevention, lower cost, and improvement of soil fertility and structure.

Your Franklin County property will benefit from our forestry mulching services by:

  • Clearing your land of unwanted plants such as trees or shrubs, so that you can use your land for another purpose such as building a home or constructing a building on it;
  • Clearing your property from debris caused by storms like hurricanes or tornadoes.
  • Preparing your property for development and redevelopment work such as installing drainage systems or road development.
  • Creating space for farming activities such as planting crops; and,
  • For environmental enhancement purposes such as preserving wildlife habitats.
